JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must:

• Be an NMC-registered nurse.
• Have previous Community Nursing experience.
• Have access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence.
• Hold appropriate business-use motor insurance for community visits.

 

The required competencies include:

• Catheterisation:
• Urethral Male
• Urethral Female
• Suprapubic
• Blocked Urethral
• Blocked Suprapubic
• Insulin administration:
• Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM)
• Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM)
• Compression Bandaging
• Pleurex/Rocket Drains
• Phlebotomy
• Syringe Driver Set-up
• Verification of Expected Death
• Wound Care
• Safeguarding awareness for adults receiving care at home

Rates

• Days Approx. £24 per hour, dependent on experience & client approval
• Nights/Sat Approx. £28 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
• Sundays/bank holidays Approx. £35 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
